ROSSINI FESTIVAL PESARO
Birthplace of Rossini in 1792, the Adriatic beach resort of Pesaro stages an annual festival in honour of its most famous son. A short break beside the sea in this refreshing setting also allows time for a visit to the Ducal town of Urbino with its elaborate Renaissance Palace commanding the hilltop.
